Non-Profit Pet Rescue Group Need Your Help for Sick Puppy – Saginaw

Cesar is a 10 week old male Rottweiler puppy. He was on his way to be euthenized until Heart of Michigan Animal Rescue jumped in and took him into our hearts.

Because Cesar is like any other puppy; loving, playful, sweet smelling, and a total bundle of joy! As sweet and as cute as he is you have probably noticed something a little different about Cesar. Cesar's head is out of proportion for what it should be for such a little puppy. Cesar has a condition called 'hydrocephalic'. What this means is that Cesar has water on the brain. But this condition does not have to mean a death sentence for this darling little boy. We saw that he was worth saving a first time, now we need to try all we can to save him a second time. But we need help!

Two veterinarians have confirmed his condition. The week of 10/22/07 Cesar will go to a specialist, a veterinarian that specializes in neurology in animals. As with any condition requiring specialists or special procedures the expenses can be quite costly. We don't know yet what the expense will be exactly but have been warned that it could easily run a few thousand dollars. As a small struggling rescue group, we need to appeal to your compassion and love of animals and ask for help!
